Thongmai Thepram was born in Buriram Province, Thailand. He grew up immersed in the local cultural landscape before deciding to pursue his dream by studying painting at the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University—Thailand’s leading incubator of contemporary artists. His time there played a crucial role in refining his technique and shaping his distinctive artistic voice.

His work stands out for its unique blend of concept and expression. He primarily works with acrylic and pencil on canvas, crafting visual narratives that fuse memory, dreams, and observations of the real world. His inspiration draws deeply from contemporary culture, social dynamics, and personal introspection, turning each piece into a kind of visual diary—rich in aesthetic beauty and emotional depth, yet often thought-provoking.

Beyond their surface appeal, his artworks subtly critique and question society with intelligence and sensitivity. Viewers are not just passive observers; they are invited into a surreal, intimate, and often powerful space that challenges perceptions and stirs the imagination.

He was awarded Second Prize at the 10th White Elephant Art Award (2020) and received the Excellence Award at the 36th PTT Art Competition (2021).
